It’s no secret I am pretty picky when it comes to my clothing. The way this manifests itself in the world of neckwear is that I really only like ties that are 7.5cm/3.00” wide at their widest point. More than that I find too wide (though sometimes I will allow up to 8cm/3.25”), and any slimmer and it starts to look like an anemic “skinny tie,” which I don’t like at all…
