Abercrombie is running a nice 30% off site-wide sale, and figured I would bring some attention to this specific piece. It’s a wool-blend, mac-style topcoat in either a real nice brown houndstooth-y pattern, or a grey herringbone. Both are nice, though I am a sucker for houndstooth.
This seems to be the latest version of a topcoat from Abercrombie that people seemed to like quite a bit in years past. It’s a wool-blend, so be warned. Also, while I don’t have any experience with the coat this year (and have no room in my closet for such a piece at present), in past years I tried it on and found it a bit boxy, so size down if you want to wear this more casual (as in, not over a suit jacket).
All in all, for a current price of just about $150, I would imagine for many people you can’t really go wrong here. If you have this coat, let me know how it is! Maybe I can find some more room in this closet after all…
