Style Suggestion: A Simple Thread Bracelet from Oliver Cabell + Giveaway!

Disclaimer: Oliver Cabell sent The Peak Lapel these bracelets for free for the purposes of this review.

I’ve never been a huge jewelry guy. But a short while back we reviewed April Soderstrom bracelets and we talked about how they were the perfect bracelets for guys to slowly get into the bracelet game if that was something they had be hesitant to do. This was because they were subtle, tasteful, and almost blend in to the rest of your outfit quite easily. And ever since then I have been much more open to the idea of a simple bracelet. I found, though, that I didn’t love the bead design and wanted something sleeker, thinner, more elegant, and less contrived.

Enter the Oliver Cabell Cameron Cord ($60). They are exactly as they sound, a cord/thread in a high quality material with a beautiful and elegant gold drawstring tightening mechanism. This is one of the best bracelets for guys I have seen. It takes something simple - a thread - and makes it quite elegant and refined. It looks natural as a part of any outfit, and it wears very subtly on the wrist, and does not feel like you are trying too hard. One of the biggest issues getting into bracelets is sizing, and the fact that these are adjustable is a huge plus as you pretty much don’t have to worry about it as well.

Are they a bit pricey? I think so. But they can be had on sale for less than $50, and become somewhat more reasonable.

The reality is that adding a bracelet to a look next to a watch adds a very nice visual interest, and shows you pay attention to the details. If you’re looking for the perfect thing to do that, look no further. These are by far my favorite bracelets for guys out there, and really the only ones I would look to wear right now.
